BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY
HOWARD S. RASHEED, Ph.D.
Dr. Howard Rasheed completed his Doctor of Philosophy from The Florida State University in Strategic, International, & Entrepreneurial Management in 1996. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of West Florida.
Dr. Rasheed currently teaches courses in Strategic Management and Managing Innovation and Technology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He has previously taught courses in Entrepreneurship, International Management and Managing in the Future at the Universities of West Florida and South Florida.
Dr. Rasheed has authored several papers and cases on Small and Entrepreneurial Business, Business Policy, Youth Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Total Quality Management, including:

Dr. Rasheed is President and CEO of Institute for Innovations, specializing in training in strategic vision concepts for innovation and creative thinking. He is the inventor of the patented Strategic Visioning Software based on the Bisociation Brainstorming(TM) process.
He has owned a consulting firm for 25 years in the Florida Gulf Coast area that provided consultative service to small and mid-size entrepreneurial firms. The firm has written and competitively won over $15 million public and private contracts and grants. His firm also specializes in developing, implementing and evaluating youth entrepreneurship programs. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer of a 410 employee, $20 million aerospace manufacturer; and Account Executive for BellSouth and AT&T.
